Ghosting someone shows total indifference to their feelings, making it one of the most damaging things you can do to them. Ghosting is the act of abruptly and unreasonably cutting off communication with someone. Ghosting is characterized by experts as an instance of emotional abuse.

Has someone ever ghosted you?

or

Have you ghosted someone?

Ghosting some one shows that you have ne feeling for them and shows that you don't care about their feeling and worry, but some times when you feel unwanted by some one and if you feel like they don't give you much respect and attention that you gave to them you feel like ghosting them without telling them any thing.

Well, I didn't know that the act of suddenly cutting off contact with someone was called ghosting. I understand that acting like this is not good towards a person, but if this person with whom I cut off all communication because she bullied me or submitted me, in your opinion, how else should I have acted?

Yes, I have, all my relatives after my husband's death as they were trying to create dispute within my family.

Yes i have been ghosted several times before by both customers and non customers. It's usually painful because you had an expectation, and that expectation was broken.

It hurts to be ghosted because it leaves you hanging. That person abruptly stopped talking to you without giving you any explanation, and you have no idea why. I had experienced it before, and it was kind of heartbreaking.

It happened to me many years ago when the term was still unknown in Italy. However, as painful as ghosting can be, I assure you that bullying is definitely worse. Believe me, because I experienced it in my childhood and adolescence!
Yes you are right, the feeling of being bullied is way worse than when someone ghosted you, and bullying can even affect you mentally and emotionally.

In fact, unfortunately, I know something about what it means to be bullied. It happened to me when I was a child/teenager, and I still remember it now that I'm fifty.

If we are talking about the same ghosting, because there was supposedly mutual trust and then after that trust they erased themselves from your life just like that without caring about the trust they had in each other, definitely no one deserves to be ghosted. What's the point of trusting someone so much and then overnight erasing you from their life? I don't understand when they do that, I would never ghost someone, if I distance myself from someone's life it's for a reason, but it's not without any reason.

Indeed, it leaves us hanging and wondering with a heart aching badly for being ghosted. I experienced it, and it broke my heart. There was no explanation, just letting it go and feeling void.

I can only imagine what you went through, so sorry to hear that though. There are so many others who have also been affected deeply from being bullied.
