Why is Read Cash not popular as an online earning platform?

I have been hearing about Read Cash as an earning platform. But it seems to be less popular. It doesn't feature much when discussions about online earning platforms is going on.

Why is Read Cash not popular as an earning platform? Is it difficult to earn there?

Is read.cash still paying? There was a time where read.cash was very popular, it was actually where i started earning from through writing, and overtime it became extremely hard to earn there and it got to a point where they said it stopped paying.

There was no way it was going to have traction for long. Their earning model didn't resonate with what writers wanted.

Yes that's true, but that by the side was an awesome platform. It was the first ever writing platform i joined even before i came to know about paid to post as well.

I believe they stopped paying a long time ago. Many users were paid by this site, but they did not last long. I'm not sure if they have started paying again.

Read cash is not doing well in search engine optimization. Therefore, the site can not be able to generate enough money to pay writers. Therefore, the site stopped paying writers in the platform. I don't real know what is going on there now.
