I have heard of people jailbreaking their iPhones and a thousand more looking for ways to jailbreak their iPhones.

Is it legal and ethical to jailbreak your iPhone? What are their inherent benefits derived from jailbreaking your iPhone?

Of course, jailbreaking an iPhone is illegal, and there is no benefit in the long term, in fact your iOS will easily be infected with malware and become unstable or will often hang. Your personal data will also become unsafe or become a target for hackers.

The iphone is too restrictive. People jailbreak their iPhones to have more control over it. For instance, the iPhone cannot connect to other devices apart from an iOS powered device. That is how it has been configured from factory. Jailbreaking allows it to be able to connect with other kinds of devices.

Its also the same reason why most people root their Android phones as well. This is because they want to have unlimited access to their phones. Rooting or jailbreaking can be risky to the phone though.

Jailbreaking an iPhone means unlocking and increasing restrictions on iOS, so you will be able to install new themes, other apps that are not available in the Appstore, but if you install SimobiPlus then your Simobiplus account will be banned. Because as far as I know, the Simobiplus app has the F5 Device Integrity Checking feature.

Its just like when you root your android phone, you can no longer update it when an official update is sent, cause it would damage the phone.

My friend jailbroke his iPhone because it had carrier restrictions on it. He wanted the freedom to use any telecom network on it. He jail broke it and removed that restriction. He manually updates his phone when new software updates are out. The phone is working fine.

In my country most peoples jailbreak their iPhone if they need to use it, and they are doing that because if the iPhone is from US or other countries and if it is only works in those countries we have to jailbreak it in order to use it in my country with my countries network, that is why.

I think that jailbreaking an iPhone gives a person ownership and freedom over the phone devoid of control by Apple and it's policies. It voids warranties I'm case of any damages happening to the phone.

Well, some people prefer to jailbreak their iPhones so they can do other things. iPhone is quite restrictive.
Yes that is what some people used to do the like to jailbreak their iPhone because the can used iPhone to do many things.

Jailbreaking and iPhone is very much illegal and not something I would suggest anyone do as it can lead to issues for you such as data leaks, malware and other issues that can affect your phone.

I have never understood why some jailbreak phones to be honest but people use the service so people will still offer the service.
