Some people end up over stocking their businesses all in the name of holding stock inventory. They hold so much stock that would last them for 5 months, especially if the products are non perishable.

What are the bad sides of holding too much stock that can last for a long time in your business?

This is the very reason why products based businesses are not my thing. Service based business that depend on skill don't have these issues.

Yeah, holding too much stock can be a headache. You lock up cash that could be used elsewhere, end up paying for storage, and risk stuff losing value or going out of style. It feels safe at first, but long term it can drag your business down instead of pushing it forward.
