From the Louisville, Ky report, a woman allegedly choked a hospital nurse because her discharge was taking too long, and the victim was the first person available, despite having nothing to do with her discharge.
According to a police report obtained by local outlet WDRB, 35-year-old Mykeisha Johnson was a patient at the University of Louisville Hospital scheduled to be discharged on Saturday. At some point during the process, Johnson reportedly became frustrated with how long the discharge took. When an unrelated nurse walked by while making her rounds, Johnson allegedly grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the ground before punching her in the face.
When questioned by authorities, Johnson acknowledged that the victim had nothing to do with her discharge taking so long, but was the first person available to attack, per the report. The nurse was taken to the emergency room with pain across her body in her neck, head, leg, stomach, and shoulder.
The report said that the victim remained conscious throughout the incident but was in a state of shock. The woman was detained and was to answer for the crime she committed.
