Would subscription pricing model work with laundry services?

We are in the world where subscription pricing is holding sway. However there are some services that have been traditionally priced in retail. One of such is laundry services. Do you think laundry services can be priced on subscription?

I doubt if the subscription price model is suitable for laundry service in my city. People may not be willing to pay for subscription fee because they never know if the laundry business will be operating for long. Here, most laundry business offers discounts if you pay in advance.
