I would absolutely NEVER accept that! I understand that it might not be pleasant to say something like that, but "trust is good, but not trusting is better," especially nowadays. Well, I would not accept anyone that comes with any unfavorable conditions. I love my peace of mind.But if you look at the situation described in the original post, there are strings attached.
For me, I would accept the money. Have been accepting such money often.
Exactly, or maybe the person is trying to be a friend again with you if he/she is trying to do so.Accepting money might signal to the person that their actions are acceptable, potentially encouraging them to continue unwanted behavior.
