Would you defend a loved one, if you were breaking the law?

This would be a difficult thing for me to decide whether or not I want to do. I am someone who would rather follow laws, than to break them willy nilly, to help a sibling, spouse or child in a situation that might cause issues later down the road.

It is hard to decide whether it is necessary should a family member to commit a crime. I am thankful, there is none among my family members. We are all afraid of the law.
