Would you prefer the rented wedding gowns or the purchased one's?

If you rent what are the memories that will remind you about the weeding?
You don't compromise with your photos on your wedding day. That would serve as a reminder of your wedding. Doesn't make sense to buy a wedding gown of $500 when you can rent for $30. And you are just wearing it once.
I am not married. If I do one day, I would like to buy my wedding gown. It's once in a lifetime thing. I love to show my wedding gown to my children or even grandchildren.

If the woman that I want to marry wants to buy a wedding gown, a dime of my money won't go in to that because it is a waste of money for me.

I would say it's better to take Gown on rent because they are very expensive if you buy it , also you won't wear it often after the marriage.
Yeah it is what it is. I would prefer to rent the wedding gown if it is cheaper since I might just wear it for just a day.
If I ever decide to get married, I will opt to rent if I do not have enough money. But if I do, I will look for a reasonably priced yet high-quality option to purchase.
I think its best to rent it because buying it may not make sense as its just a one day affair and you don't need to buy it unless you have more than enough and won't mind buying it
In our community we don't wear old clothes for wedding. Everything has to new even an earthen pot.
That's a tradition that I would consider worthless and insensitive. What of people that can't afford the new wedding gown? They should not marry?
I won't allow my wife to be to spend money on sewing a wedding gown unless she can sew it by herself with low cost items.

People now are more on practicability except those elite groups. Even the movie celebrities' opt to rent a wedding gown rather than buy.
I think it's more practical to rent than to buy as normally no one wear their wedding gown or lehnga after the wedding day so its best to rent and save money

That's right but others want to keep their wedding dress what for? For me, I opt to rent a wedding gown. The wedding lasted only a few hours, after the wedding, the couple to face debts to pay.
We wear silk saree which has a wide range.
