According to the report, Khaled Meshaal, born in 1956 in the West Bank, is a founding member of Hamas and its former leader (1996-2017). Operating mostly from exile.

The report said that he survived a 1997 Israeli assassination attempt in Jordan. He is now based in Doha and Cairo and has represented Hamas in international meetings.

Meshaal is considered a likely successor to Yahya Sinwar. If he survived in the past, he will no longer survive this time. He better lead the Hamas in the right direction to embrace peace and see the beauty of the world and humanity and not to kill and retaliate.
