According to the report, the major day of Ukraine diplomacy saw President Volodymyr Zelenskyy deliver a powerful speech in Ireland on justice, European unity, and defending core EU values.

In Brussels, NATO foreign ministers expressed growing concern as the United States holds quiet, behind-the-scenes peace talks with Russia, discussions from which many NATO allies say they are being excluded.

Countries like Poland, Germany, and the Baltic states fear the emerging US–Russia peace plan could pressure Ukraine into making dangerous concessions. As Matthew Day reports, Zelenskyy’s message was a clear warning: don’t let Washington and Moscow cut a deal that undermines Ukraine or Europe.

The interview also highlights deep NATO divisions over Ukraine’s membership, with Hungary, Turkey, and possibly a future U.S. administration opposing Kyiv’s entry. Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Russia pushes a narrative of major victories, despite heavy Russian losses, slow advances, and chaotic fighting around key frontline cities.

That was something fishy that Trump and Putin talked moved behind closed doors. They should have invited Zelenskyy to join the talk to avoid an escalating rumor of conspiracy.
