Zlatan Ibile has criticised the Nigerian government for failing to address the growing economic hardship in the country
Speaking in an interview with Madame Joyce in the UK, Zlatan said Nigerians have become so used to suffering that it now feels normal.

“We are used to it, suffering and smiling, that’s how it has always been and the government isn’t doing anything about it,” he said

I believe Zlatan Ibile's words reflect a reality many in Nigeria feel. The economic situation has been difficult for years, and it seems the population has learned to live with this uncertainty and poverty, almost as if it were normal. It's sad that people have to get used to adversity and that the government isn't taking effective measures to improve the situation. Music and the words of artists like Zlatan can be a way to express discontent and raise awareness, but they must also be accompanied by real action. Frustration grows when solutions seem far off, and this affects both people's morale and their prospects for the future. The hope is that, with social pressure and political change, paths can be opened to a better quality of life for everyone. Resignation cannot be the only option.
