A staff that is too efficient but very egoistic. How would you manage such in your business?

There are certain staff that are very excellent with their work, but full of pride. They always achieve results and they know they are good, but they would always display pride and arrogance.

How would you manage such a staff if you owned the business?

The best way is to train others as well, then start reducing the amount of responsibility you give to this staff in particular.

It is tough when others have failed to rise to the occasion. That staff would alway hold the company to ransom.

That's the reason that some companies don't keep staff that are extremely good in their jobs. They would always hold the company to ransom when they know the company is hugely dependent on them.

We had a staff that was like that. But the company had to let him go and we still survived through it.
