Can a paid to post forum be taking as a real business or job

I am surprised to know that one can actually rely on paid go post forums as the main source of earnings. It does not provide a job security or consistency of payment. Things have become tougher in the current times with few good paid to post forums getting shut down or reducing their pay rates. Some have stopped paid posting.
Well, if you are yet to get a better offer you can use them as a full time job but good thst new ones are always springing up daily.

I think for owner, you may consider you paid-to-post forum as a business. For staff, such as Administrator, Moderator, it can be a job. However, for members participating in discussion, no. The pay rate for forum is low. You can only take the earnings as side income.

Yes, I get your point. There are always few good ones available. But to earn a decent amount one has to spend a good amount of time abd have a few ones in hand. Many have restrictions with number of posts, daily limits etc. That can be another discouraging factor.
I am not sure with all the time and effort and all the potential and possibilities to maximize my earnings on these forum sites, if I could ever earn enough go provide a decent living. For me with all financial obligations that I have, I can't foresee that happening.

No, you cannot survive on the earnings of the forums because there is no consistent pay rates on them, every then and now they reduce and when they go in loss they close their site without paying their users.
There is a genuine risk of these forums shutting down abruptly and not compensating their users.

That's one big risk involved. They don't provide you with the security of job and a constant pay. Well, people argue that it might happen with regular offline jobs toi..There too you might loose your job all of a sudden or cost of cutting might happen impacting your salary. But there is a huge difference. In offline jobs ( in structured sectors), you will get monetary compensation of some salary in advance in case of job loss. Also, you can fight for your rights legally in offline. You have contracts and hiring letter. Nothing such is there in these forums and one can not rely on them.

I have never heard that people are fired immediately from their job, they are given notice first and if they are fired immediately they are paid for it. Whereas the forums are not liable to pay any such compensation.

It's nearly impossible for a regular member to take paid-to-post options as a full-time gig. The pay is way too low and one may wake up one day only to find that the website is no longer accessible.

Yes, the earnings from paid to pist forums can be seen as extra earnings for little expenses or for some extra money that we can save and grow. One should not depend on this for sustaining livelihood.

One might add all the possible paid forums to the list. But still it is not possible to devote time to all. We have 34 hours in a day with other obligations too to be taken care of. Is it worth spending so much time for so less? Better would be to go for job that can pay some money. Rest you can fill with paid forums.
