Can the business of selling flowers really earn one a living?

I am always confused because I have never had to patronize a flower seller before. And most people around me don't. It is good if they get good patronage and earn a living out of it.

My country export flowers for different country and get good forex money, but the flower exporters have flower farm and they plant flowers and sell them , and also there are some peoples who buy flowers from those farmers and sell it to local market but they don't get that much profit from it.

Flowers selling is a good business but one funny thing which you need to know is that if you are selling flowers consider the location and the nature of people that live in that visinity this are some of the factors you need to check before you start

For people to expend their time and labour to cultivate flowers, it must be profitable. I know of a woman that has about 4 plots of land that she uses to cultivate flowers. I am quite sure that at that level, she is making good money from it.

Selling flowers is a very lucrative business especially if you are in urban area. But one negative aspect of the business is that it is not always lucrative during dry seasons. One of my friend is into thr business and he is doing well.

Selling flowers depends on the location. It is good to install your business near a church because people keep on going to church to pray and attend masses. And the people know right away where to go once need bouquets during special occasions like Valentine's day.

Here in my place, I can find many flower shops on the street and even those who have stalls. Flower business is good and it is profitable during peak season. Like Valentine's day. Not everyone can buy flowers for birthdays and anniversary.

I think the business that deals with flowers can't support one for a living. Unless you deal with exportation of flowers abroad, the business is seasonally when done locally.

I think it all depends on location. If you have a perfect location then its a win but if your location is filled with people who don't see the value in flowers then by all means save yourself the trouble.
