I read an article in the New York Times, although crypto prices are currently skyrocketing, there are many regulatory pressures that are making crypto companies go bankrupt, lawsuits by the US government, so this news can make novice crypto investors believe that crypto will collapse and die. This FUD news was spread by a group of whales, to take advantage by buying crypto at low prices. FUD is the spread of false or fake crypto news that aims to mislead investors. So it's good that as crypto investors we should be able to differentiate between legal news and fake news and it's better if we ignore FUD news or fake news.

You're right sis, there's a lot of fake news and tricks on crypto. On the one hand, whales are spreading fud so that retail investors immediately sell crypto. On the other hand, they're spreading fomo to get retail investors to buy crypto, but both are traps.

There is no need to cause unnecessary panic. It won't really work. The youths believe so much on crypto and they know that it is the future of modern financial systems.

If the U.S. government wanted to bun cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, they've would've strangled it with regulations at the very beginning.

They didn't thinking it'd never catch on. Unfortunately, Bitcoin (and other cryptos') have caught on and they're now playing regulatory catch-up.
