While many blame video games for distractions, not all digital games are harmful some, like simulation or adventure games, can improve creativity and emotional wellbeing they enhance imagination and telling hand mark skills they teach problem solving through challenges that mirror real life decisions ,they offer emotional release after long workdays can digital gaming be part of stress therapy? Can adults learn balance instead of avoidance? Games, when chosen wisely, can be tools for relaxation, not addiction. Let’s talk about responsible gaming and how it can help adults manage life pressures better

I completely agree that video games are not inherently harmful and can actually offer significant mental and emotional benefits when used responsibly. Many adults deal with constant stress from work and daily life, and gaming can serve as a healthy outlet to decompress. Simulation and strategy games, for instance, encourage planning, decision-making, and patience, which are skills that can transfer into real life. Adventure games stimulate creativity and can even inspire storytelling or critical thinking. The key lies in moderation and self-awareness. Setting time limits and choosing games that provide enrichment rather than endless scrolling or gambling-like mechanics is essential. In this sense, digital gaming can indeed function as a form of stress therapy, especially when integrated into a balanced lifestyle. Adults can absolutely learn to use gaming as a relaxation tool instead of avoiding responsibilities, finding a sustainable way to combine entertainment with mindfulness.

Personally i feel it mainly depends on the person playing the games. I have played some action games and it actually helped me in a positive way.

Many people love games but not all games are poison, some are medicine for the soul and mind

There are simulation and adventure games that stimulate creativity and give you inner peace

It's like entering another world without traveling

You learn to take action intelligently, not greedily

They teach you to make difficult decisions without crying like a child
