Do you have a savings goal?

I

I have a saving goal that is to reach at least one million in two years' time. I hope I can achieve my goal because this time prices are getting higher every day and we need to send money for food and medicine and saving is the least priority.

The prices are increasing and this is why inflation is have a major impact on money as well. This is why money is not that much powerful and the monetary value of money is declining a lot in the recent years. Having said that, this should not mean that we must avoid saving money.

Money remains powerful the only thing is to avoid nonstop spending of items, not essential. We will regret and suffer the consequences of our extravagance. Money is life.

Of course, I also have savings goals, especially long-term oriented ones, which I always allocate to investments, so saving money is just a temporary stopgap, then there is a portion that I buy the things I want but most of it is allocated to investments.

You are very good at that. All of us have a goal to save, others derive from their pension program deducted by their employers while still active in work like my case and all the workers, we are deduced for retirement plan up to retirement.

Sometimes it is good to have saving goals I think it helps to achieve something good and reach something in life it does help a little for sure
That's right having a savings goal helps keeps you focus. Saving goals has helped me a lot. Most times what actually motivates me to discipline myself to keep saving is simply because of my goals .

In my case, since I am in a situation that is anything but comfortable, I will be assigned a lifetime support administrator. He will be the one to manage my money, although on the other hand, I will never have the possibility of buying anything if this person were to deny me authorization, even though the money is mine! Honestly, I don't like this at all, but unfortunately I have no right to choose.

Are you currently saving and do you have a goal or reason for saving? I recently started a savings plan for 2024, i am hoping to achieve a certain amount by October next year. I also plan on creating other savings plan for a new phone and for advertising. What about you?
@eLdavis , I would like to ask this question directly to you since you created this thread. Unfortunately, I am a smoker and I have always been told, even though we all know, that SMOKING IS SERIOUSLY DAMAGEFUL TO YOUR HEALTH. So if I could to stop smoking, I'll do it to firstly to avoid putting my health at risk first of all. But you know, cigarettes are not given for free, they are very expensive, the brand that I smoke for example cost €5.30 for a pack of 20 and keep in mind that I smoke about 30 per day. So to stay on the argument, do you think that being able to stop smoking can also have as a second target after the healt that should be a big saving of money?

Yes definitely, it's like killing two or multiple birds with one stone. When you stop smoking, it would not only benefit your health, but also help you save more.

You are right, even if quitting smoking immediately for me will not be easy, but I think if I could also succeed gradually, this would mean reaching an excellent target for me.
In this regard, excuse me if I ask you this question, obviously respecting your privacy: Do you not smoke much? Thank you in advance.

Yes, I have a long-term savings goal rather than a short-term one, I know how much money I want to have saved for the next 5 years, also how much money I want to have invested, which for me is like saving too.
