How does your business get technical support?

For some of us, our businesses have equipment and tools. And these tools need periodic maintenance/ repairs. Does your business have to outsource technical support or you have a technical support person/ department as part of your staff team?

I do not run a business. I know a lot of SMEs who cannot afford to hire a full-time technical support staff. They usually seek the service of a freelance technical support personnel should they need help to maintain or repair their equipment.

Most smaller businesses don't have technical support staff on payroll. Those guys charge very high for their services.

I have a guy that I call to help me fix the sewing machine when it has problems. I pay him for every time he has to come.

I don't think for technical support you need to have a full staff for it unless it is a big organisation. but if not just have a stand by person you can always call for repairs

As of now l have a very small scale business that l can do most of its maintenance and repair work for the machine and equipment on my own. That's because the business is very is still growing.
