Before the COVID-19 times, a half kilo of coffee in my country had a reasonable cost of the equivalent of 1,50 dollars (considering the current exchange rate). When COVID-19 appeared, prices began to skyrocket and coffee was one of the most affected items. The worst of COVID has gone, but the prices didn't return as they were in 2019. Especially the coffee price. Now, a half kilo of coffee in my country has skyrocketed to about 4,50-5 dollars (it has practically tripled). Shamefully expensive.

Coffee here are sold by pack according to sizes up to the least in sachet where people can buy one dozen sachets good for some days. After the price skyrocket, many stop drinking coffee. I stopped drinking coffee for 4 years now. I only drink lemon grass tea fresh from our yard -free 😁.

Well, cause of my severe IBS, I can drink coffee only once per month (only half a little cup  ). But my husband is a coffee amateur (as the average Latin American:LOL:), so I usually purchase only a sachet of 40 or 50 grams of coffee for him, at the cost of about 10 reais (about 2 dollars). It lasts about a week.

Here in my country we have various kinds of coffees, sold at a similar price. It's not a pure coffee, as corn is frequently added (and consequently, I have an additional reason to stay far from, as I suffer from a sort of corn allergy). Arabic coffee is pure coffee and our supermarkets sell it, but in such a case it's coffee for rich people...

Coffee is yummy but too sugary. If you wish to drink coffee more, do not stir it he he. The sugar will submerge. Sometimes, I drink ginger tea, :ROFLMAO:.

Yes, ginger tea is very good. Some months ago, I purchased a box with 10 sachets of ginger and hibiscus tea (I didn't find ginger tea alone).
It is best to drink fresh ginger, not powdered. You just cut a portion and boil it he he. I have not seen here ginger sold by sachets.

Unfortunately, here fresh ginger becomes rotted very soon compared to powdered ginger. That's why I prefer the powdered (that's also cheaper).

I cannot find ginger packed here. I like it. It is easy to manage. I will check it in the malls or public markets. They might be sold there.

If you're getting the benefits of ginger in a way that fits your lifestyle, then that's good.
I only drink ginger twice a week during snack time. Every breakfast and dinner, I drink milk. I sometimes add Milo to my milk he he.
