Before the COVID-19 times, a half kilo of coffee in my country had a reasonable cost of the equivalent of 1,50 dollars (considering the current exchange rate). When COVID-19 appeared, prices began to skyrocket and coffee was one of the most affected items. The worst of COVID has gone, but the prices didn't return as they were in 2019. Especially the coffee price. Now, a half kilo of coffee in my country has skyrocketed to about 4,50-5 dollars (it has practically tripled). Shamefully expensive.
