Is paid traffic completely bad and negative?

I have seen some people berate paid traffic and make it seem as if it is a taboo. For those kinds of people, site owners should not even consider paid traffic on their sites.

I want to ask if paid traffic is completely bad? Is there any circumstances that paid traffic can be beneficial?

Can you please explain this? How is this site generating paid traffic? Do you mean to say the site is paying users to post content, so basically this is a paid traffic?
