Though most young people do not consider medical expenses, they can be substantial especially in old age. The cost of one month of hospitalization is more than the annual income in some cases. Have you considered medical expenses while doing your financial planning?

In some countries, taking care of elder is government responsibility. Though is good to have some money mapped out for medical expenditure. Now that the inflation is very high and unbearable, i don't think it will be right to be saving now because you need to survive before saving money.

Planning ahead is always a smart move. I am in the process of building an emergency fund to cover any unforeseen medical expenses. Although I have just started, so far the amount saved is not that substantial. It is quite challenging to put aside some money for it, especially since my current online job is not stable.
