Seller keeps changing terms for real estate deal

A seller had agreed to take demand draft payment at the time of registration, and after 9 days he is asking for advance payment. Is it worthwhile dealing with the seller or is it better to cancel the deal?

It's better to cancel, cause it means the seller is not straight forward, unless there is probably a legit reason as to why they took such action.

Are you sure you are not dealing with a scammer. The red flags here point in that direction. Let such a seller go.

Here, the buyer and seller usually sign a temporary agreement. Both parties need to stick to the terms and conditions including downpayment required, method of payment, the date of payment etc.
