Some of the best money-saving habits that work for me include cooking at home, setting a specific monthly budget (hopefully without any emergencies), and buying in bulk, to name a few. What about you?

@freelancermaria, you are a good and wise housewife who can manage money well. I have stopped using credit cards to avoid interest charges. Furthermore, even though I have many marketplace accounts like Lazada, Shopee, etc., to avoid impulsive shopping, I uninstall them after making purchases. The numerous ads on my smartphone make me open the apps and shop.

One habit that’s helped me the most is tracking everything I spend. I write it down or type it in a note app. It’s annoying at first, but after a while, you start seeing where the leaks are. Another one is setting rules like “no spending on weekdays” or “no takeaways for two weeks.” Also, I don’t keep money in my main account, I move my savings to a separate one with no card access. That way, I don’t touch it unless it’s really important. Simple stuff, but it works for me.
