This happens when they learn that you are struggling financially and are afraid that you may approach them to borrow money. Of course, it hurts a lot if they avoid you. Their actions are understandable; they do not like you to borrow money from them.

Some people you know, despite not being your relatives, may have a heart to lend you money in your crucial moment. They understand your temporary situation, whereas your relatives, close to your family, seem not to know you. And when the time comes that your lucky star lets you hit your financial target, changing your financial life for the better, those frigid relatives may appear before you to ask a financial help. What must you do? Your relatives forgot the power of the boomerang. If you are kind, you may help them, but if you want to let them feel what you feel the time they rejected you, then it is all up to you.

It is happening here, too. If the person looks broke, no one likes to mingle with him, as if he does not exist. But for those who look smart, pretentious, are entertained without knowing that someday, the person they looked down on will become rich.

I agree there are people like this. They avoid you when you are struggling. When you are successful, they approach you. That said, there are also nice people regardless of family members, relatives or friends who may give you a helping hand when you are in trouble.

There are many of their kind. It can also happen in the family. If there's a family member struggling financially, the siblings are not bothered and never cared of asking the sibling. It truly hurts.

My sister-in-law doesn't have any financial problems. Moreover I wanted to give back the money she gave soon after my husband's death but she denied to take but kept trying to extract a huge amount from my sons. She is as bad as Shylock.

Tell your sons not to give their aunt money. That's too much. How could she tolerate her bad attitude milking her nephews. She's greedy and inconsiderate.

She is mean and has a very low mentality. That's the reason my sons and I have severed all relationship with all my husband's family members.
