Why do you think we have downfalls in the internet connection on rainy days.

For instance in my country we are currently in the short rains season. So the whole of yesterday was raining cats and dogs and we there was a blackout on the internet connection despite a perfect electricity connection in my region. What do you think is the reason for that downfall?

When rain falls, it often acts as obstacles that obstructs the wave flow, hence the network gets crappy.

The electric supply to the transmission towers/mobile towers may get affected due to rains, and the internet connection is also affected when it rains heavily.

Maybe you subscribe to an internet service provider that is unstable and prone to rain and lightning so that when it rains the provider will immediately turn off the internet channel.

I have never had the experience of my internet connection collapsing entirely because of rains. That's too bad.
