Can a paid to post forum be taking as a real business or job

I didn't say you have to share your secrets. :) Others will give their oppinion.
No no, I didn't mean not to say what I earn as a forum owner. I meant that as a forum owner(in my case) I don't earn money. What I gain is
activity on the forum, but not money. I said it was a good one, in comparison of what users make. Actually users make more than the forum owner even though is not like a regular job to depend on for them.

What you get mostly from activity? First what I get in mind is better value on domain name if you will sell it later.
You are right, value is created, but it's not turned into money to use it, until you sell. But if I don't sell? = no money.

Do you think as owner you can get like 10$ per day? Can pop up ads bring even more money?
I haven't made that kind of money from my forums. If you can grow big, with hundreds of posts every day you might make good money though. Pop up ads are bad for forums because forums thrive on engagement and pop up ads interfere with posting.

Well, I don't think so, you can have it as a secondary income, yes, but earning money on them as your first income I don't see it as profitable at all.
That’s a fair point. For most people, PTP forums probably aren't reliable enough to be a primary income source.

business only for the person who does it, but I don't know how profitable it is, if some profitability is obtained, one should consider creating several paid sites to earn money, leaving this aside for someone who just wants to earn money no, it is considered only extra income but not a business, the profits are very few to be considered a business as such

It can be taken as a supplementary source rather than a primary income. And consistency is indeed the key.
Yea it's better as a secondary or supplementary source of income, especially due to the current pay rates and how much you can earn per month.
